My original training was in philosophy and I was a philosophy professor for twenty years. As I moved into midlife, I began training as a psychotherapist. I have a Masters in mental health counseling, which I obtained from Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am also in training to be a psychoanalyst in the tradition of Carl Jung. I am a member of the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts (IRSJA) and an associate member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP). I practice psychotherapy according to psychodynamic, classical Jungian and archetypal approaches and more broadly in all approaches associated with “depth psychology”.
